Does Granola's MCP server work on the free plan?
Partly: on Granola's free Basic plan the MCP server exposes only your personal notes from the last 30 days, and the folder, search and transcript tools are limited to paid plans. Granola's MCP documentation lists that split, and the pricing page files "MCP integration" under Business at $14 per user per month; Enterprise admins must switch it on. So an agent in Claude Code or Cursor can read recent notes on Free but cannot search history or pull a transcript. Audiee's MCP server is local and the same on every tier: it runs on your Mac at 127.0.0.1 with a per-machine token, exposes search across all meetings and notes, page read and write, grep, past meetings with transcripts and summaries, and meeting start and stop, and Audiee writes itself into the Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor configs automatically. Because everything the agent reads is a Markdown file on disk, nothing passes through a cloud relay. Install Audiee, restart Claude Code, and ask it for your last three meetings.
