Does Otter's free plan cover a one-hour meeting?
Not in one piece: Otter's free plan allows 300 minutes a month but stops each conversation at 30 minutes, so a one-hour meeting is cut in half unless you upgrade to Pro, where the cap is 90 minutes per conversation. The per-conversation limit is on Otter's pricing page and catches people who assumed 300 minutes meant five full meetings. Audiee's free plan is measured differently: 3 meeting hours and 20 meetings a month, with no cap on how long any single meeting runs, so a 90-minute workshop is one recording with one summary. Dictation, questions and sharing do not count against the hours. When the monthly allowance is used, recording pauses until the 1st, and Pro ($29) raises it to 25 hours. For someone with a few long calls a month, Audiee's free plan simply fits better; for someone with many short ones, the two are close. Check your calendar for meetings over half an hour before choosing.
