Changelog
What shipped in each Audiee.ai release for Mac, newest first. The app updates itself; the version you have is at the bottom of Settings.
October 2026
- 0.1.82 · Oct 2 · Current — Every entry in System Settings → Privacy & Security is now simply Audiee.ai; the separate "Audiee-Assist" entry is gone. After upgrading you'll see the permissions screen once more — allow Audiee.ai and ignore the old rows. Screen reading says "starting…" while a meeting's first capture is still coming in, instead of reporting that it couldn't read.
- 0.1.81 · Oct 2 — The first-run screen asks for three things in plain words — transcribe my voice, transcribe others' voices, see who's speaking (optional); dictation hotkeys and browser meeting detection wait in Settings. Audiee.ai's background check-ins read your calendar less often and back off when nothing needs you.
- 0.1.80 · Oct 1 — The Gemini agent option runs Google's Antigravity CLI, and says so plainly when only the retired Gemini CLI is installed. Buttons in a chat reply work even when the reply wraps them in a code block.
- 0.1.79 · Oct 1 — The Dock icon no longer disappears when the dictation pill or another floating window opens. Ask about "the last few times" mid-meeting and the answer draws on the last three meetings of that series.
- 0.1.78 · Oct 1 — Live answers: a question about an earlier meeting is answered from that meeting, and a question is spotted anywhere in a line, not just at its start.
- 0.1.77 · Oct 1 — A view that fails to load says so instead of leaving the window blank, including a page shared before recipient lists existed.
September 2026
- 0.1.76 · Sep 30 — Memory learns from how you use Audiee.ai and from the summaries you correct, reads more of your own sources (sticky notes, routines, people and project pages) and notes where each memory came from; an About-you page shows what it knows.
- 0.1.75 · Sep 30 — When two sources disagree, the assistant goes with the newer one, and asks before acting only when a wrong guess would matter. Live answers show their sources; To-dos lets you add reminders and routines by hand; calendar invitations now email the guests.
- 0.1.74 · Sep 30 — The live window shows the line being spoken before it is final. Summaries open with the key discussion points; sticky notes keep the day they meant, fade when overdue, and edit in place on click.
- 0.1.73 · Sep 29 — Sharper recall from memory: date ranges, the people and projects a question names, and facts you've confirmed more than once. Screen reading drops stray text fragments before they reach your notes.
- 0.1.72 · Sep 29 — Recurring and care commitments ("call Mum every Sunday") are never dropped, and a reminder nobody answers goes quiet after three tries. The From Audiee.ai card left Home.
- 0.1.71 · Sep 29 — A false start — two minutes or less, nothing said, nothing written — is deleted instead of filed, and the wrap-up tells you. Switching tabs no longer flashes "Loading…".
- 0.1.70 · Sep 28 — 0.1.69 re-released unchanged after a precautionary rollback.
- 0.1.69 · Sep 28 — The memory drawer shows what Audiee.ai knows about you, grouped by subject, and remembers a sentence you type. Home gets a "Today, from memory" card, partly fed by your calendar.
- 0.1.68 · Sep 27 — Plain dictation is faster: the recognised text is pasted straight in, with no round trip to the assistant (translate and ask still use it). Chat runs on a faster default model; tasks handed to Claude Code run with read-only access to Audiee.ai.
- 0.1.67 · Sep 27 — A full review pass: about sixty small fixes across the app and its background service. Gmail's Connect opens the own-project setup without undoing the simple Google sign-in.
- 0.1.66 · Sep 26 — Typing in Chat no longer lags on long threads; clicking the menu-bar icon can no longer start a second copy of Audiee.ai; connected tools no longer stall after a restart; a queued message shows a status line.
- 0.1.65 · Sep 26 — Google Workspace shows as five tiles — Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets — and "connect" chips in chat open a tool's Connect flow.
- 0.1.64 · Sep 26 — One-click Google sign-in for Calendar, Drive, Docs and Sheets; Gmail keeps the own-project setup as the advanced path. More tools you can connect with your own API key; tiles with nothing behind them were removed.
- 0.1.63 · Sep 26 — Tool cards get an on/off switch, and the assistant never calls a tool that is off or not set up. Web search, X search and image generation run on your own API key.
- 0.1.62 · Sep 25 — Memory understands aliases, keeps dated corrections with their history, and brings decisions and open commitments into answers. Screen reading does less work once the picture stops changing; the Home dictation card is tidier.
- 0.1.61 · Sep 24 — Sign-out lands on the sign-in screen, sign-in says when it is still settling, and Try again replaces a stuck browser hand-off.
- 0.1.60 · Sep 23 — Read screen is on by default. During a meeting Audiee.ai reads the text on the meeting window on your Mac — slides, a shared document — into the notes and summary; no screenshot is kept, only text. Switch it off in the live window or in Settings.
- 0.1.59 · Sep 23 — A labelled Read screen switch in the transcript header, and an opt-in to read the front window when no meeting app is showing.
- 0.1.58 · Sep 23 — Coming up shows the nearest day with meetings and folds the rest of the week.
- 0.1.57 · Sep 21 — New: Read screen puts the text of a shared screen into the notes and summary (off by default at first, switched in the live window). Written sources — slides, attendees, your notes — fix mis-heard names in the summary; speaker names work in more apps, with a check that says what's wrong.
- 0.1.56 · Sep 19 — Sign-in, log-out, "save minutes" and "add to To-dos" say so when they fail instead of failing silently; MCP servers you add find their commands on your shell's PATH.
- 0.1.55 · Sep 18 — Every place a plan limit can bite — mid-meeting, dictation, chat — says so plainly, and a recording your plan won't allow is refused up front, with the reason.
- 0.1.54 · Sep 18 — A background-service restart that fails says so, and the sign-in screen states accurately what leaves your Mac.
- 0.1.53 · Sep 16 — A recording-consent notice: a card before your first recording and a fading reminder in the live window each time, plus real off switches for meeting detection and the calendar nudge. Long meetings are summarised in full (the end was being cut off), a slow start no longer leaves a phantom second recording, and Audiee.ai installs as a skill for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents.
- 0.1.52 · Sep 15 — Paste or drop screenshots into a meeting's notes.
- 0.1.51 · Sep 15 — No more "background service is offline" banner after an upgrade, and no stray duplicate background services.
- 0.1.50 · Sep 14 — Plainer privacy wording in the app — transcription happens in the cloud, snaps are read by a vision model — and the tool-call usage log is off by default (see trust).
- 0.1.49 · Sep 14 — Plugging in headphones mid-meeting no longer stops the microphone or the call audio, and a microphone that can't be opened is reported at start.
- 0.1.48 · Sep 13 — The app sends its version and OS with each request, so we can tell when an account was last active — no content; listed on the trust page.
- 0.1.47 · Sep 12 — Summary bullets link to the moment in the transcript; renaming a speaker fixes every line; promises made in a meeting land in Apple Reminders. Audiee.ai warns when a recording stops unexpectedly, won't start one offline, connects any MCP server, and no longer keeps an idle Mac awake.
- 0.1.46 · Sep 11 — Shorter chat replies (long ones read as two bubbles); images in a chat open full size on click.
- 0.1.45 · Sep 10 — Clearer click targets in the Google Workspace setup guide.
- 0.1.44 · Sep 10 — Every polished summary adds its names and terms to the meeting vocabulary; fewer false calendar errors right after launch; an empty assistant reply retries instead of erroring.
Before 0.1.44
Earlier releases were summarised by month.
Early September 2026 (up to 0.1.43)
- Share by email — send a meeting recap or a Knowledge page to anyone; they get a read-only web page, no account needed. Optional email code, expiry, revoke.
- Find colleagues by name — on a company email domain, Share suggests people as you type.
- One Mac, several accounts — each account keeps its own meetings, Knowledge and memory.
- Knowledge, Obsidian-style — spaces, backlinks, properties, graph view, ⌘O page switcher.
- Your allowance, visible — hours and meetings used this month on Home and in Tools; a way to plans wherever a limit is reached.
- Summaries are owed — a summary that could not be written (offline, out of allowance) is retried on the next launch; quitting mid-summary asks first.
- Getting started card — three steps on first run: record a test, ask about it, connect Claude Code or Cursor.
- Replies in your language — Audiee.ai answers in the language you wrote in, any language.
- Yearly plans — Pro ($180 a year) and Ultra ($470 a year), about 20% less than paying monthly.
August 2026
- To-dos tab — one-time reminders and recurring routines get their own home; the sticky-note pad moved in with them.
- Sticky-note pad — say a to-do with no date and it lands on Home as a sticky note.

July 2026
- Knowledge graph — Obsidian-style view of people, projects, and meetings.
- Pre-meeting recall — a card that reminds you what happened last time with these people.
