About Audiee
Audiee is a Mac app that takes meeting notes without a bot, writes by voice in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and keeps everything it learns as plain files on your Mac. It is built by a small team operating from Singapore, where meetings routinely switch between Chinese and English mid-sentence — the case most note takers get wrong, and the one Audiee was built around.
What we believe
- Your record is yours. Transcripts, summaries and the knowledge base are Markdown files under ~/.audiee. No server holds a copy; export is one click; leave whenever you want.
- Nothing joins your call. Audiee listens to your Mac's audio. There is no bot, no waiting-room admission, no extra participant for clients to ask about.
- Honest about the cloud. Audio is streamed for transcription and comes back as text; assistant requests send only the text needed. We say so plainly on the privacy page instead of calling ourselves fully offline.
- Agents get the same memory. A local MCP server gives Claude Code, Cursor and Claude Desktop your meetings and notes as tools, on every plan.

How we check facts about other products
Every number about another tool on this site links to that vendor's own pricing or help page and carries the month it was checked. When a vendor changes something, we update the page and the month. If you spot a stale claim, email us and we will fix it the same week.
