Terms of service

Last updated 4 October 2026. Audiee.ai ("we") is operated from Singapore. By using the Mac app, the iPhone app or audiee.ai (together, the "service") you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you use Audiee.ai for an employer or client, you are responsible for following their rules as well, and you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on their behalf where you do.

Your content

Everything you capture belongs to you. We claim no rights over your recordings, transcripts, notes, or knowledge base. You give us only the permission needed to process them for you — transcribe, summarise, relay encrypted between your own devices — and nothing more.

Recording is your responsibility

Audiee.ai is a tool; you decide what it records. You are solely responsible for making sure every recording is lawful where you are — including notifying participants and obtaining any consent required by the laws that apply to you and to them. If a claim is brought against us because of something you recorded, that responsibility is yours, not ours.

Acceptable use

Use Audiee.ai for your own meetings, notes and knowledge. You must not:

• record anyone covertly, or anywhere recording is prohibited (courts, secure facilities, calls where the other party has declined);
• use Audiee.ai to monitor, harass, stalk or profile people, or to collect others' personal data without a lawful basis;
• upload or capture material you have no right to (confidential information you were trusted not to record, copyrighted media);
• share your account, resell access, or abuse the transcription and assistant allowances (automated bulk use, scripted accounts, circumventing plan limits);
• probe, reverse-engineer, scrape or interfere with the service, its encryption, its prompts and models, or other users' data;
• use Audiee.ai if you are in a country under a comprehensive trade embargo or on a government list of restricted parties, or in breach of export-control law.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or the law, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities. Where a problem can be fixed by you removing something, we will usually ask you first.

Your responsibility and indemnity

You are responsible for what you record and for how you use the output. If anyone brings a claim against Audiee.ai because of a recording you made, content you captured, or your breach of these terms, you agree to defend and indemnify us (including reasonable legal costs) to the extent permitted by law.

Accounts and age

You must be at least 16 to use Audiee.ai (or the age of digital consent where you live, if higher) and you are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in method secure; tell us at hello@audiee.ai if you think it has been compromised.

AI output

Transcripts, summaries, and assistant answers are generated by AI and can be wrong. Review them before relying on them; don't treat them as a verbatim legal record or as professional advice. You own the output Audiee.ai produces from your content, subject to the same rules you'd apply to the content itself.

Our software, your ideas

We license the Audiee.ai apps to you — personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable — for use with the service on devices you own or control; you don't acquire the software or our name and marks. If you send us a suggestion or feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

Other people's services

Tools you connect to Audiee.ai (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion and others) are governed by their own terms; you must be entitled to connect them, and we are not responsible for what they do or for their availability.

Subscriptions & refunds

Paid tiers are billed monthly or yearly, as you choose, via Stripe (Pro $19 a month or $180 a year; Ultra $49 a month or $470 a year) and can be cancelled anytime; access continues to the end of the period you paid for. If Audiee.ai isn't working out, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full. After that, renewals, monthly or yearly, aren't refundable — just cancel before the next cycle.

Warranty & liability

Audiee.ai is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages — including lost profits or lost data — however caused; and our total liability for all claims is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and US$100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or either side's right to seek an injunction.

The service

Audiee.ai depends on third-party speech and language providers, and we may change providers, features and plan limits over time; material reductions to a paid plan are announced in advance. Features marked as in testing (such as the iPhone app before its public release) may change or be withdrawn. Because transcription runs in the cloud, Audiee.ai needs a network connection to record.

Ending things

You can stop any time: cancel in Settings, delete your account in the app, or just delete the app — what is on your devices stays yours. We may end or suspend access for breach of these terms, for unlawful use, or if we discontinue the service, in which case paid time not used is refunded.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update this page and its date; for material changes we also tell you in the app or by email before they take effect, and keep earlier versions available on request. Continuing to use Audiee.ai after a change means you accept it; if you don't, stop using the service and cancel before your next renewal.

If you use the iPhone app

The iPhone app comes from Apple's App Store under Apple's standard licence agreement (the Licensed Application End User License Agreement), which these terms add to. In particular: this agreement is between you and Audiee.ai, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it; if the app fails to meet a warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any), but has no other warranty obligation; Audiee.ai, not Apple, handles any claim about the app — product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection, intellectual property; you confirm you are not in a country under a US embargo or on a US list of prohibited parties; and Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

The legal bits

These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Audiee.ai. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest stands and that part is read as narrowly as needed. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else; we may assign them to a successor if Audiee.ai changes hands, and will tell you if that happens. Notices to you go to the email on your account; notices to us go to hello@audiee.ai.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes go to the courts of Singapore — unless you are a consumer in a place whose law gives you the right to be heard at home, in which case that right stands.
