How can we help?
Everything Audiee can do, and what to try when something looks off. Can't find it here? Email hello@audiee.ai — a person answers, usually the same day.
Getting started
- Setup in five minutes — install, sign in, first meeting, first question.
- The five macOS permissions — what each one does, how to grant or revoke it, and the Audiee-Assist gotcha.
- Plans — Free, Pro, Ultra — what counts against the hours, and what never does.
Meetings
- How meeting notes work — before, during and after a call — detection, live transcript, summary, memory.
- Zoom on a Mac — notes without a bot, speaker names from Zoom's own labels.
- Mandarin, Cantonese and mixed English — the three native languages, and what happens with others.
- Share a recap by email — read-only page, no account needed, revoke any time.
Voice and capture
- Write with your voice — Ctrl to dictate anywhere, Ctrl+Shift to translate as you speak, Ctrl+Space to ask.
- What happens to my audio — streamed out for transcription, returned as text, never stored on our servers.
Memory, agents and tools
- Audiee as an MCP server — the same knowledge base from Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex and more — wired on first launch.
- Works with Claude Code — give it your meetings and notes as tools.
- Export and leaving — your notes are Markdown files under ~/.audiee; take them any time.
When something looks off
- No transcript appears — System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording must list Audiee-Assist as on; then quit and reopen Audiee once. Audiee refuses to start a recording while offline and says so.
- Only one side of the call was captured — the meeting page says which (a line under the title: mic-only or no microphone). Grant the missing permission; for the other side, also check the call is using your normal speakers or headphones.
- Captions stopped mid-meeting — the live window and a notification tell you. Everything captured so far is kept; if it doesn't recover in a minute, End and start a new recording.
- The summary hasn't appeared — it usually lands within a minute of End. The meeting page shows a Retry when it failed (network, or the monthly allowance ran out); Regenerate makes a fresh one at any time.
- A speaker has the wrong name — click the name on any transcript line and type the right one. A spelling fix applies to every meeting and future transcripts; a different person applies to that meeting.
- Names never show on Zoom lines — grant Accessibility, then Settings → Meetings → Check speaker detection tells you what it sees.
- Wrong language — Settings → Dictation sets the spoken language; Mixed handles English and Chinese together. Mid-meeting, the live window's language menu switches on the spot.
- Claude, Cursor or Codex can't see Audiee — click your name (bottom left) → Settings & tools → Agents to see which apps are wired; connect from there, then fully restart that app.
- Sign-in, plans or a charge — click your name (bottom left) → Plans & billing. Stripe opens in your browser; cancel there and you keep the plan to the end of the period.
Sending us a report
Email hello@audiee.ai with what you expected and what happened. The app version is at the bottom of Settings; logs live in ~/.audiee/logs and contain no transcript text. For a speaker-name problem, run Settings → Meetings → Check speaker detection and attach ~/.audiee/logs/speaker-dump.txt.
